I have had my pooch Waylon for 13 years (see his photo on my web page) he is very handsome! Here are some of my favorite dog walks in San Francisco. Crissy Field ( probably one of the most spectacular views in the country!) Totally dog friendly from the trails to the beach and a wonderful cafe and gift/book store st the East end of the trail.Also fun to watch the surfers under the bridge at Fort Baker. Fort Funston, at the south end of Ocean Beach overlooking the Pacific Ocean you'll see plenty of other four legged creatures as well as many hang gliders-you can walk down to the dunes for an Ocean stroll as well. Glen Canyon- A wonderful secret off of Bosworth Street. A large wild canyon filled with Eucalyptus trees, a creek, a treasure in the city. McClaren Park- Wow the trails and views are endless. Worth the drive to get there maybe 5-10 minutes from Potrero Hill or Noe Valley but lots of acres and trails. Ocean Beach -A nice LARGE urban beach for a lovely Pacific Ocean stroll, bring your leash and watch the kids and surfers! |
