The Bay Area has so many incredible Hiking Spots.

From Mt Tamalpais, to Briones Regional Park, to Point Reyes, the Marin Headlands.

An easy walk is Tennessee Valley trail right before you get to Mill Valley. Take the first Mill Valley exit heading North on 101. Follow Tennessee Valley Road 1st left, park at the parking lot and walk the 1 mile trail to the beach or go for a harder climb up the mountains in any direction- bring water! (No dogs allowed to the beach but allowed on the nountain top trails with a leash.)

The West Point Inn is a fantastic destination if youhave time to go to the top of beautiful Mount Tamalpais. There are many trails that begin there- or drive to the Pantoll Ranger Station parking lot and there are many choices of trails from there as well.

The drive to Stinson Beach is curvy but worth it- a long gorgeous beach- continue alittle further and you will find Audubon Ranch.

Another amazing place is Point Reyes National Seashore- Every beach is a gem and there are great hiking trails at Bear Valley National Park as well as horse back riding facilities in the Point Reyes region.

East Bay- Berkeley Hills has great trails in Tilden Park as well as the Little TRain, The vintage Carousel, the Little Farm-let me know and I can direct you- or of course there is map quest!

Crystal Springs reservoir is 15 minutes South on 280 and a nice break from Urban life you can walk around the reservoir.

 San Francisco also has many urban walking tours, many of which are architecturally oriented and are a great way to learn and see our many neighborhoods.
